Hi, I am a 15 year old table tennis player from Stevenage and have been playing table tennis since the age of 5 years – my whole family play and this is what inspired me to start playing from a very young age. From the age of 9 I have been selected by England and have attended England training camps ever since. My first call up to represent England was when I was 9 years old and I represented England in the International Schools event which was held in Scotland – I won a gold and silver medal in this event.rn rnI have been playing for England ever since. I train most days and play in events at the weekends. I have been picked to represent England in many European tournaments – Hungarian Youth Open, Swedish Youth Open, Italian Youth Open, Portugal, European Youth Championships and recently I was the only Cadet (under 15) to be picked by England to represent England in the Europe Top 10 (these are the top 10 in Europe who all compete against each other)rn rnI have been the number 1 player in England in my age group most of my table tennis career and have been National Champion 4 years running as well as the Youth Cup gold medal winner.rn rnI have just been picked by Great British Table Tennis Association to go to Croatia to compete in the Youth Olympic Games Qualification for Europe – I I am the only player from Great Britain who has been selected (its in the Youth under 18 age group) – this is an amazing achievement for me and the biggest event to date. This is a self funding event though and the event in total will cost around u00a32000.
