Hello. My name is Rajah Thai Singh Rayat, I am 10 years old. I have a been playing Roller Hockey now for 2 years and now it is now my passion. Although I struggle with severe Autism, and Adhd which I am taking high doses of Medication, that I HATE taking! I have found that this sport has drastically changed my life. Roller hockey has enabled me to improve my balance and coordination skills, as well as, helping me focus and concentrate. I have made life-long frienships around the UK and I have developed lots of physical skills, and I really enjoy mixing with other kids and playing in a team. I have high functioning Autism and roller hockey helps me burn off all of my energy! Roller Hockey is a really fast and fun sport to play! I love it! I train at least 3 times per week. I am the only Sikh boy from my area, who attends National Training and I am proud of this! I have been selected to represent my country in February 2018, which will be held in Portugal. I am over the moon about this and I feel very proud to be representing my country in a sport in which I feel so passionate about. I am totally committed to training and I have found new skills, which I never imagined that I could achieve. In order for me to fulfil my dreams, and to travel to Portugal, next February, I would greatly appreciate any of your kind donations, to help me achieve my dream of representing my country and to continue to develop my skills as a Roller Hockey player. Roller Hockey is not a recognised sport in the UK unlike other traditional sport. Therefore, we are unable to apply for any help/support and this trip will be funded by my single parent (mother) who already spends hours of her time coaching me, taking me to matches around the country and to various training sessions.Any donation towards my trip to Portugal will really help!
