Hi my name is Amy, I’m 15 years old. Due to taking an unexpected dip in a pond on a family outing, I’ve been swimming since I was 2! I worked up through the grades in my local pool before joining my local swimming club. It wasn’t long before I was hooked on competitive swimming, achieving my first county qualifying times aged nine, winning medals in several events. I worked hard to achieve my first regional times at the end of age 11 and since then I’ve qualified for an increasing number of events year on year. rnI’m focused and dedicated on achieving my 2017 season goal of making English National Champions as an individual in freestyle events and to repeat last years success as part of my clubs relay squad, making British Champs! My passion of achieving my ultimate goal of going to the olympics is what motivates to get out of bed at 5 to train before school and what pushing me to return to the pool for a second session in the evening.
